Boston, MA — September 19, 2025
Boston’s Roadrunner was alive with electricity Friday night as Yungblud brought his sold-out North American tour to town. Fans from across the U.S. and Canada packed the venue, eager for a night that blended youthful chaos, heartfelt moments, and the surprise debut of a brand-new song.
Opening the evening was Arkansas native Sawyer Hill, accompanied by three young, dynamic musicians. Hill quickly captured Boston’s attention with a mix of original tunes and a soulful take on a Johnny Cash cover.
Wearing signature red boots and tossing his long hair with every guitar strum, Hill charmed the crowd with stories about small-town life and the path to making music. His smooth, rich vocals and infectious energy set the perfect tone for the headliner. Meeting up with the fans post set won over a new set of fans for many years to come.

As the lights dimmed, the room filled with chants of “Yungblud!” Moments later, the British rocker burst onto the stage with his opener, “Hello Heaven, Hello.” Within seconds, he ditched his leather vest, climbed the drum riser to douse himself with water, and returned to center stage — soaked, grinning, and ready for 90 minutes of pure rock ’n’ roll.
Fans waved handmade signs asking for kisses, tattoos, and birthday shoutouts. The atmosphere was electric, with attendees ranging from wide-eyed teenagers to veteran music lovers reliving their youth.

Halfway through the set, Yungblud paused to share something special: the live premiere of “My Only Angel.” As the first chords rang out, the room erupted. Boston became the very first city to hear the new track, and fans soaked up every moment, singing along by the second chorus.
Yungblud kept the energy high with crowd favorites like Fleabag. He invited a fan onstage to join in, then halted mid-song to pass water to someone in need, reminding the audience, “At a Yungblud show, we take care of one another — that’s what rock ’n’ roll is about.”
Soon after, he climbed over the barricade, balancing on outstretched hands as he sang, surfing the sea of fans before making his way back to the stage — nearly losing his chaps in the process.
From Sawyer Hill’s soulful opener to Yungblud’s unrestrained spectacle, Roadrunner delivered a night that Boston’s music lovers won’t soon forget. With just a few dates left on his completely sold-out North American tour, Yungblud proved why his shows are a must-see
Boston is already counting down the days until the genre-bending artist returns to light up the city once again.
