Braving Boston’s arctic chill, fans packed the MGM Fenway Music Hall on February 7, 2026, for a night of pure Americana magic. The legendary Robert Earl Keen opened the show, playing from 8 to 9 p.m., his set filled with classics that had the crowd singing and dancing. Taking center stage, Robert Earl Keen was highlighted by a incredible back up band and multi-talented guitarist on fiddle and strings, made the set really stand out and warm up the stage for the headliner.
By 9:30, Turnpike Troubadours took the stage to a full house (and probably a sell-out). From the youngest fans to longtime Robert Earl Keen followers, the crowd embraced every note. Their phenomenal guitar and bass players, along with a fiddle and steel lap guitar, created a tight, electrifying sound. Their keyboard player added depth, but it was the fiddle that truly thrilled. The Troubadours left nothing on the stage…just like their fans, who were clapping and dancing all the way to the last note.
