Future Memory is a sonic experiment dedicated to the proposition that live, spontaneous improvisational music is as close as one can get to nirvana. The transcendent state, not the band. There are other ways to get there too, but these aren’t necessarily legal in all jurisdictions. “New Jazz-ish” (if you’re needing a category). Or, “post-industrial avant-groove-jazz.” Performances are never the same way once, so your guess is as good as ours.
