Button Factory Jazz: The Perspective Series – (S)ean Joseph Haney

‘The Perspective Series’ is two parts per installment and will take the perspective of various musicians and follow them through the avenues of their journey in music, from the projects they’ve been apart of to the way they approach their specific instrument(s) in the creative process.

(S)ean Joseph Haney is currently the drummer/percussionist for Cursed On Earth and Admin of Seacoast Music Scene groups here on Facebook. The depth of a creative’s work is often far greater than what is immediately discoverable and this case is no exception. Inviting a slew of talent to give a performance more like a musical gallery than a concert, Haney will offer a view into what it’s like to develop and foster a discipline, a ‘martial’ practice and then integrate seemingly abstract rhythms, while ‘coloring in’ the music of the creators with whom he works.
