The Environmental Hour: Fighting the Good Fight – One Hour at a Time
The Environmental Hour is an environmental news and interview public affairs program that airs the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Fridays of each month from noon to 1 pm on Portsmouth Community Radio 106.1 FM. Show hosts Lisa Coté and Dick Lutz interview guests from the greater Seacoast area and beyond to discuss the environmental issues at the local, state, national, and global levels that impact our community.

Lisa has lived in the Seacoast area since 1998. She is a professional hydrogeologist who has worked on water supply and contaminated groundwater projects throughout New England for more than 20 years. She’s also an environmental advocate and educator who works with a number of non-profit groups in the Seacoast raising awareness and educating the community about environmental issues, especially as they pertain to water.
Dick is a plant expert. In addition to working at local nurseries, Dick volunteers with the Rockingham County Conservation District. He’ll be hosting the 2nd week of each month starting in November 2018 – bringing information about plants, gardening, invasive species, the good work of the RCCD… and much more!
We are currently seeking a reliable host to anchor the 4th week of the month – focused on Climate Change.  If you are interested and available, please drop us a line!
